20 miler hike. Fife Lake Loop in the Pere Marquette forest. Camping, if sites are available will be at the Old US-131 State Forest Campground with a backup location of Tippy Dam State Park.

This is the final hike for Hiking Merit Badge. A minimum of 3 sessions or 10 miler’s should be completed before participating in this 20 mile hike. Campout Friday night with early departure from camp Saturday for the hike, recovery at camp for the evening and coming home on Sunday. Come prepared for the weather. Sunscreen if it is sunny or cloudy, rain jacket if liquid sunshine is expected and a couple bottles of water would be good. Please wear appropriate footwear that is not loose. Loose shoes will result in hot spots or blisters and will not be fun.
