Over the years, youth members of Troop 168 have participated in many activities, events, and adventures including the following:

Earned hundreds of merit badges, honed numerous life skills, practiced citizenship and Duty to God, and accumulated 1000’s of community service hours.

• Completed Eagle Scout projects that benefit local organizations and the community.

• Annually attend Can-Am International Camporee (30+ years).

• Camped & hiked Hartwick Pines, MI and many other Michigan wonders.

• Hiked Gettysburg National site & historical trail.

• Backpacked Isle Royale.

• Competed in Klondike races.

• Spelunking at Marengo Caves, IN.

• Attended merit badge colleges.

• Became Ordeal or Brotherhood members of The Order of the Arrow (Scouting’s national honor society).

• Attended Summer Camp and Troop camp at: Camp Holaka, Camp Tapico, Cole Canoe Base, Camp Rotary, D-Bar-A Scout Ranch, Blue Ridge Scout Reservation, Camp Hiawatha, and more.

• Completed Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST).

• Completed National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT).

• Attended numerous Council and District Camporees.

• Members and leadership in Mackinac Island Scout Service Troop 127, Lapeer MI.

• Attended National Order of the Arrow Conferences (NOAC).

• Attended National Jamborees.
